From May 24 to May 26, the partners of the Erasmus+<\/strong> funded project “Extended Learning for Higher Education Teachers and Trainers<\/strong>” gathered in Bayonne, France to develop and improve the innovative approaches to teaching and learning. The project aims to go beyond the traditional model of face-to-face training and deliver effective blended learning options for educators.<\/p>\n

Hosted by the French partner, Universit\u00e9 de Pau et des Pays de l’Adour<\/strong>, the working group of the XL project met to refine the expected results of the project. The group, led by the Politecnico di Milano<\/strong>, worked in peer review mode to develop a collection of seven pilot practices tested by the partners and a practical guide for teachers with recommendations for the application of blended learning.<\/p>\n

The XL project involves six countries, namely Ireland, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Belgium, <\/strong>and France<\/strong>, and aims to create a community of teachers who can exchange experiences, learn from each other, and develop common ideas. The project seeks to identify the strengths and weaknesses of blended learning and to offer a new learning option, i.e., “anywhere and anytime,” which allows people to manage their own time, pace, and place of study.<\/p>\n
